Affiliate of the La State Nurses Association
Posted over 1 year ago by Debra Shelton
The Louisiana League for Nursing is now an affiliate of the Louisiana State Nurses Association. What does this mean to our organization? More exposure on the state level as an official partner of LSNA. You can gain access to premier educational resources to enhance career track and healthcare knowledge base, discounts to educational opportunities, continuing education credits, and other unique offers, and access to certain member-only resources. April 20, we are one of the co-sponsors of Nurse Day at the Legislature. Dr. Hope Webb, Secretary, will be representing us.
Also, the LLN is now a member of the Louisiana Action Coalition. The coalition is the leading organization transforming health care through nursing in our state. The coalition provides leadership to advance high-quality, patient-centered health care in Louisiana where all members of the health care team contribute as essential partners. We will representing Nursing Education on the group and Dr. Hope Webb is our representative to the group.
In the next few weeks, we will be sending out a survey to all on what you want the league to focus on in the coming year. We need your input on education offerings.
If you are attending the LSNA Membership Assembly, several officers will be there and would like to connect with our members.
