Enhance Your Writing Skills with the NLN Scholarly Retreat
If you recently completed a research study or innovative project but have not had the time to craft an article for publication, the NLN Scholarly Writing Retreat is designed to help you enhance your writing skills and disseminate research findings and other work in scholarly publications. By the end of the program, the goal is for each participant to have a complete, edited paper ready for submission to a scholarly journal. The fall program will be virtual; applications due Sept. 9. Attend the Life Stories: NLN Performance in D.C. on Sept. 10
If you will be in the Washington, D.C., area the weekend of September 10, plan to attend an event put on by your nursing education colleagues. During the course of 11 weeks, area nurse educators developed and shared stories from their experiences. Using theatre and improvisation techniques under the guidance of Theatre Lab instructors, they have created a final performance that will give audience members a glimpse into their lives and elevates their voices. On Saturday, September 10, they will share perform their presentation live on stage in front of family, friends, and colleagues. Admission is free. RSVP Now

NLN Honors New Jersey League for Nursing with Constituent League Innovation Award
The NLN Constituent League Excellence in Innovation Award will be presented this year to the New Jersey League for Nursing. The state’s affiliate league has been chosen for successfully implementing at least one innovation to support the League’s mission and goals. The New Jersey League for Nursing last received this award in 2020, making them a rare two-time winner of an NLN Constituent Award. Formal recognition will take place at the NLN Education Summit.
